Any SSSP4, SSSP5, SSSP6, SSSP7, or SSSP10 display can be used, though not all have been tested. If using a newly released model and you see a security warning or the app does not work correctly, contact Qmatic support for an updated version.
2.4.2 Remote Control
Menu navigation and application configuration are handled with the Samsung TV remote control.

2.7 Orchestra Preparations
2.7.1 Surface Editor
Set up a media display in Surface Editor in Orchestra. 1080 Full HD is recommended. For 4K displays, create a generic media surface type with a resolution matching the display — Qmatic Show does not auto-adjust its surface to the TV resolution.
Supported content: If using the Digital Signage license with a channel player, ensure playlist content is in formats supported by the Samsung display. Refer to Samsung documentation for supported formats; convert files if needed before proceeding.
Qmatic Show Ding Widget (plays a sound when a customer is called):
- Go to System Administration > Widgets.
- Click Qmatic Show Ding widget and select a surface type. Upload it if not listed.
- In Surface Editor, drag the widget to the desired surface.
Ding Widget Limitations:
- SSSP4: Video in the channel player pauses while the Ding widget plays.
- SSSP5 and later: Sound mutes but video continues playing while the Ding widget plays.
TV Widget (for live TV):
- Go to System Administration > Widgets.
- Click Qmatic Show Live TV and select a surface type. If not listed, upload
qmaticshowTV.wgtfrom the widget folder. - In Surface Editor, select either HDMI or TV as the source. Note that not all displays support TV content.
TV Widget Limitations:
- Video in the channel player cannot be shown simultaneously with the TV widget (two videos cannot play at once).
- No widget can be placed above the TV widget. Place call widgets on a separate call page instead.
- If using a widget with sound (e.g. the Ding widget), use videos without sound.
2.7.2 Qmatic Show Unit Type
- In System Administration, add
QmaticShow.uttto your unit types (found in the utt folder). Configure at this level:- Bandwidth limit — Maximum bandwidth (kbit/sec) for downloading media content.
- Media update time — Interval (minutes) for checking Orchestra for new content.
- In Business Configuration, add the Qmatic Show unit type to the equipment profile for the branch. Add one unit type entry per display (five displays = five entries, each with a unique Unit ID). Configure at this level:
- Unit id — Must be unique per display.
- Media application — Select the Media Display surface created for Qmatic Show.
- Queues — Queues the display should show visits from (in combination with service points set at branch level).
